Our U14 Munster Festival of Football has now drawn to a close, and with some fantastic football on show by all counties. It was a joy to watch all the participants of our two blitz days enjoy the occasion with some enthralling, tightly contested games.
On Saturday 20th April our finals brought the U14 MLGFA Festival of Football to a conclusion.
Clare & Limerick kicked off proceedings on the day participating in our Silver Final. Clare etched out the win in a tightly contested fixture, winning 2-8 to Limericks 2-7.
This was then followed by the Gold Final, contested by Cork & Tipperary. Cork took the honours on the day, winning 4-11 to Tipperarys 1-06.
In the final game of the day, Kerry took on Waterford in our Platinum Final.
Kerry ran out victorious on this occasion, winning narrowly 1-09 to Waterfords 1-06.
Congratulations to all, and we wish all teams the very best of luck in their respective All Ireland Series in the coming weeks.
