Munster LGFA Launches Senior Championship 2023

The Munster Ladies Senior Football Championship commences this Sunday with Tipperary entertaining Cork in Cahir with a 2pm throw-in and newly crowned Division 1 Champions Kerry travelling to Fraher Field to take on Waterford with another 2pm throw-in.
To coincide with the start of the championship Munster LGFA recently launched the championship in Cahir House Hotel.
This year’s competition will be run on a round robin format with each team facing off against each other to earn the right to contest the Munster Final.
Speaking at the launch Munster LGFA President Robbie Smyth said he was really looking forward to the championship with four top quality teams taking part and he was really looking forward to seeing some top quality games in the .
Mr. Smyth also announced that this year’s championship will see all games live streamed for the first time with Tipperary based CK Streaming joining up with Clubber TV to bring live and exclusive coverage of all the games.
Mr Smyth ‘We’ve worked with CK Streaming over the last couple of games and been very impressed with their attention to detail when it comes to promoting the product they work with. The profile of Ladies Football has gone through the roof in Tipperary over the last few years thanks to their coverage and we’re confident the inter-county campaign will be opened to a wide range of audience’. CK Streaming CEO Tomas Matthews said he was absolutely delighted to be working with Munster LGFA again. ‘We’re really looking forward to being able to bring the Munster Senior Football Championship to people’s living rooms right across the world. We’ve built up a good relationship with all counties in Munster over a number of years working with them and look forward to continuing to work with them into the future.’
He also said that he was delighted Clubber TV had come on board with CK Streaming as well to provide the action. ‘We’ve worked on numerous ventures with Clubber and have proved successful and I’m confident this partnership will bring huge dividends in the promotion of the game across Munster.
