Kerry Weekly Notes

Kerry ladies face Cork in what will be a Munster Champions v
All Ireland Champions in the next round of the Tesco Home Grown National League
series. Both teams will be obviously looking for wins to solidify their hopes
of reaching semi finals, especially after both teams have suffered defeat in
their recent league games. Cork were defeated by Monaghan while Kerry were
defeated by Dublin. However both teams on those respective days were without
key players. Cork have experienced performers despite the recent retirements of
Elaine Harte & Juliet Murphy.  Kerry
will still be without the services of experienced defender Caroline Kelly due
to injury & also Aoife Lyons who is also unavailable. Expect this to be a
tight encounter & with weather conditions playing a part in this stage of
the season victory here could go either way. Game is scheduled for 2 pm, with
venue TBC later in the week, details on website, Facebook & Twitter.

With the recent bad weather & facilities affected, the
Rhyno Quality Feeds County League will be commencing on 16th March.  The decision was taken at the February county
board meeting as clubs expressed concerns.
There will be some interesting clashes across all divisions to keep an
eye on throughout the league.
