Captain Jaymee Carrig gave St Patricks the perfect start with a goal and they added four more goals before the water break from Leah Watson, Daisy McNamara Emma Riordan and the pick of the bunch from midfilder Amy Madden who fired to the net after a great solo run. Carrigtwohill responded with two goals from Abbie Ahern and Rachel Barrett. St Patricks added three points and Enya Kely saw a great effort come back off the crossbar but minutes later she found the net for her sides sixth goal and a half time led of 6-05 to 2-04.
Lucy Twomey came to the rescue of Carrigtwohill with two excellent saves early in the second half but could do little to stop Daisy McNamara scoring her second goal. Carrigtwohill responded excellently with two goals in the space of a minute from Zoe Allen n Abbie Ahern but conceded another just before the final water break. A converted penalty from Rachel Barrett gave the Cork girls some hope but she was just wide with a second penalty minutes later Carrigtwohill pressed hard but could not find a way through the excellent lare defense well lead by Holly O Brien and some excellent stops by Rhiann Murphy. Macnamara compleated her hatrick of goals late on and St Patricks were worthy winners 9-10 to 5-05

A great start by St Josephs put them into a commanding lead which St Brogans clawed back but could never catch.
