Something for everyone in the Pre-Season training calendar

Pre season preparations are well
and truly in full swing across the Province in recent weeks with much more
activity to come.

The past two weekends has seen Level 1 coaching courses held in Cork
and Limerick/Tipperary with all places filled on both.  Clare will host a Level 1 coaching course on
February 9thwith Day 2 on March 30th. Kerry will run a
similar course on February 22nd and April 12th. Both
those course have a small number of places remaining for anybody who is
interested.

FUNdamentals coaching courses have taken place in Limerick (January
18th ) and Mallow (February 1st) in  recent weeks, again with great attendances in
both. A further course is planned in Waterford for March 1st with
plenty more to be booked in the coming weeks.

Four schools have completed Day 1
of their Transition Year Programme
with the programme planned in 3 more schools in February and 8 more in March.

A number of clubs will host Ready Steady Coach programmes during
the Month of February: in Kerry: Laune Rangers, Killarney Legion, Glenflesk and
Dingle, in Limerick St Ailbe’s, Monagea, and in Tipperary Templemore and
Boherlahan Dualla.

Limerick, West Cork, Waterford
and Tipperary are holding a Grab your
Whistle Level 2
referees courses in the coming weeks for all existing
referees to get everyone up to speed on things before the season throws
in.  In addition Limerick Ladies are
offering referees courses for new referees also.

The Silver Springs hotel in Cork on February 10th
will be the venue for the latest Club
Mentor Rules
Workshop with a
small number of places still remaining.

A number of clubs who are part of the Club School Link
programme in Munster will hold Teachers
workshops
for their local primary Schools in the coming weeks. This week
workshops will take place in Knocknagree and Galtee Rovers (Bansha) while next
week it is the turn of Bishopstown, Glenflesk and Ballymacelligott.
