Ahane Ladies Gaelic Football club in
Limerick recently hosted a Ready Steady Coach programme under the Munster
Ladies Provincial Development Plan funding programme.
Aimed at increasing
the numbers of volunteer coaches in the club at all age grades the workshop was
a great success with 17 people in attendance in total. Many of those in
attendance were interested parents or older players who are willing to help in
small ways to assist the club cater for their growing numbers particularly at under
8/10/12.
The course was
coordinated by Breda Ahern and delivered by Mary Beades in Castleconnell Parish
Hall.
